Our Story · قصتنا
A kitchen that cooks from memory.
Al-Shami Home Restaurant began as a family table in Damascus — a long one, always crowded, always with a kettle on. We brought that table with us to Doha and set it down on Salwa Road. The recipes are the same. The welcome is the same. The bread is still warm.

The Al-Shami family
From Damascus to Doha
Three generations of cooks — grandmothers, mothers, sons — who learned the food of Bilad al-Sham at home before they ever wore an apron. Mezze pounded by hand, kibbeh rolled one by one, sweets pulled from the tray while they're still warm.
The grill never goes cold. The tea is always pouring. Ahlan wa sahlan — أهلاً وسهلاً.
"A house with no guests is a house with no soul. Come hungry, leave full, come back."
— A Damascene saying
